Alcohol content: 14.5%

Elaboration process: Wine is elaborated from selected grapes coming from vineyards with more than 25 years old which are located in limestone plots with a low canopy. Grapes are manually picked and carried to the winery in boxes with a capacity of 20kg. Following a second grape selection, grape juice overcomes fermentation during 8 days at a controlled temperature; then it carries on for 18 more months the malolactic fermentation in 50 new French and American oak barrels. Wine rests in the bottle before it is launched to market.

Tasting:

1. Sight: Wine has a deep blackberry colour with significant purple tones, full robe, clean and bright.
2. Smell: Wide, frank and very complex, wine aromas are dominated by ripe black fruit such as morello cherry, blackberry and plum together with crianza aromas such as cedar and ebony woods, spiced cloves, vanilla, leather, liquorice and roasted coffee.
3. Mouth Feel: Elegant wide structure, dense, full-bodied, powerful and remarkable skeleton of tamed robust tannins. It is also very complex, with a set of fruity sensations, spices, and new wood with a long and persistent finish.
